Hello Everyone! Earlier this month I had the opportunity to emcee Fairmont Pacific Rim's In Dramatic Fashion, an evening dedicated to fashion and art. This was really exciting for me since it really is an one-of-a-kind event in the city and it's an honour to be able to host it. It was an evening that featured Canadian fashion royalty, Catherine Regehr and New Yorn-born artist, Adad Hannah.
This is my first time emceeing a fashion event and it felt amazing to do something new. It feels good to challenge myself and leave my comfort zone - all while wearing a beautiful Catherine Regehr gown and sharing the space with wonderful people in the luxurious Fairmont Pacific Rim!
Getting up on a stage and being able to speak to an audience is a wonderful feeling for me. I know that a lot of people dread public speaking, but to me, it is a fun and rewarding experience. I still have a long way to go until I can be satisfied with my speaking skills, but it feels like I'm improving each time I step onto a stage. The important thing is to just let go and take on the challenge. Only when we stop thinking and start trying, do we know what we can achieve.
